Senior Cost Control Accountant

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Senior Cost Control Accountant to join Europe's Largest Airline Group! This is a very exciting time to join Ryanair as we look to expand our operation to 800 aircraft and 300 million guests within the next 10 years.

Role:

The successful applicant will act as a cost control leader for the Group. The role will cover all aspects of the Ryanair business with specific focus on business partnering to achieve cost savings and successfully manage costs.

Duties:

• Cost Control in all areas of the business
• Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Drive cost saving initiatives - analysis of current costs, identify target cost savings, review and align with key stakeholders & report monthly on progress.
• Business Partnering with various departments across the group.
• Support weekly internal management reporting feeding into weekly forecast P&L and cashflow.
• Develop and analyse financial models to support critical initiatives.
• Support long term financial planning {Cash, P&L, Balance Sheet) for the Group
• Identify continuous improvements in the reporting process.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
• Experience in management accounting, reporting and forecasting.
• Strong analytical ability to drive efficiency, quality and continuous improvements.
• The ability to work on own initiative.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a pressurised and fast paced environment.
