The Senior HR Business Partner will partner with the organisation’s management team, provide a high level HR support and contribute to the smooth running of the organisation. You will also manage the HR operations team including the HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor and the HR Administrator in the effective day to day operation of the HR team.Employee RelationsWork to maintain a positive employee relations culture at Pieta with open communication across the boardProvide guidance and support to managers in managing discipline, grievance and dignity at work procedures, facilitating the effective implementation of the appropriate policies and proceduresMonitor trends in employee relations and actively work with senior managers in finding solutions appropriate to the organisationOperate in a manner which ensures compliance with employment legislation, retaining appropriate documentationSharing and providing guidance to the HR team in best practice, consistent employee relations solutions and work to ensure the knowledge of the wider HR team and management team remains up to dateSupport the implementation of and follow up of employee engagement surveysProvide guidance on information and consultation where required as part of any organisational or departmental level changeEnsure reporting information in this area is up to date and can be used in support of the People and Culture sub-committee of the Board activityPerformance ManagementCoach and support the management team of Pieta in the execution of their rolesSupport the HR Director in the development and execution of the organisation’s performance management processProvide guidance and support to managers in the performance management of their teamsProvide guidance and support to managers in the management of the probationary processLearning and DevelopmentIdentify and source appropriate training solutions for the people of the organisation, adhering to procurement guidelines and working to the agreed training budgetWork with the HR Director to identify training needs and develop an organisation training plan to address these identified needsDevelop and deliver training to managers in the organisation in relation to people management e.g. performance management, managing probation and absence managementHR OperationsManagement responsibility for the HR Business Partner, HR Advisor and HR Administrator.Oversee the day to day activities of the HR operations team and support as necessaryEssential Criteria:Essential - CIPD accredited qualification in HRIdeally educated to degree level in a relevant disciplineDemonstrated experience in managing performance and coaching and guiding managers on sameDemonstrated experience in building a culture of positive employee relations and engagementMust have experience of managing and advising on grievance procedures, dignity at work procedures and disciplinary procedures through to appeal stageDemonstrated experience of providing high quality and appropriate training solutions both directly and via outsourced providersStrong literacy and numeracy aptitude with excellent communication ability verbal and writtenExcellent IT skills: Word, Excel, Power pointAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyAbility to work with and support others through change and a fast paced, growing work environment
