Job Description - Senior Recruiter

The Opportunity

Phorest powers 10,000 hair and beauty salons using our software across the globe. Our aim is to capture 25% of the market globally – that’s one million salons and a billion-dollar company.

We are growing fast and would like to add a new member to our team. You will join a group of highly motivated individuals, to help us grow Phorest faster. 

What you will do

  • Working with hiring managers and leadership to develop recruiting plans to meet our hiring needs.
  • Developing a pool of qualified and diverse candidates through actively sourcing.
  • Pre-screening candidates to ensure position requirements are met and cultural fit for both Phorest and the candidate.
  • Conducting regular follow-ups with hiring managers to ensure the effectiveness of recruiting plans and activities.
  • Leveraging and building networks to find and connect with passive candidates.
  • Communicating regularly with managers and employees to ensure good rapport and help source new candidate leads by leveraging our strong employee referral program.
  • Remaining in close contact with candidates to ensure we’re giving the best candidate experience possible.
  • Coaching hiring managers on recruitment process including job scoping, specifications required, reviewing applications and interview skills.
  • Build and deploy effective recruitment marketing campaigns specific to the job opening.
  • Continuously build talent pipeline to ensure there are multiple candidates in play at all times.
  • Ensure candidates are kept fully up to date with their application, and appropriately prepared for their interviews.
  • Keep hiring manager up to date on any market changes that would impact the hiring process or talent community.
  • Stakeholder management
  • Function as subject matter expert on recruiting activities and maintain up to date knowledge of recruiting issues, trends, and employment law

Who you are

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, People team and department heads to fully understand their hiring needs and priorities.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to adopt best practices in recruitment and navigate through different, and often challenging recruitment scenarios.
  • Strong sourcing experience with the ability to think outside the box when building your recruitment strategy.
  • Experience recruiting within technical, engineering, GTM or pre-sales teams.
  • Highly collaborative, organized and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage and communicate competing priorities.
  • Advanced knowledge of the industry and vertical sourcing strategies and tools.
  • Adaptable and willing to work on a variety of roles outside of tech when needed.
  • Being proactive is essential, you move fast and get things done.
