Senior Retail Manager Job Cork 

Teamworx is delighted to  be working with a progressive retail convenience supermarket group within the grocery retail sector based in Cork. They are hiring for a Retail Operations Manager  you will be part of the senior leadership team where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and growth of the group's forecourt retail shops. Working closely with your retail  partners, and reporting to the company Managing Director, you will have full autonomy and ownership of running these sites and ensuring the profitability of this side of their business.

This is an excellent opportunity for one who is a single high-profile Store Manager, who feels confident of stepping up to a multi-site job. 

Salary will DOE, €55,000, including company vehicle, company phone & laptop

Key Responsibilities for this Retail Grocery Area Manager:

• Operational Excellence: Oversee store operations, including merchandising standards, and   ensure compliance with company  policies, and procedures set out to incorporate the company vision 
  
• Sales and Performance: Work with your Management teams to support and encourage sales growth by analyzing data, implementing effective strategies based on retail trends and advice from head office, and using your creditability with your retail partners to implement these sales strategies to ensure your region is performing on target
  
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and training to store managers, retail partners  and internal teams, fostering a positive and motivated work environment that represents the company values and standards 
  
• Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability within your area of responsibility. 
  
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure the stores in your region adhere to health and safety regulations, food handling standards, and legal requirements.
  
• Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with senior management, shop owners, report on performance metrics, and propose improvements.
  

Requirements for this Retail Grocery Area Manager :

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a senior retail management job, ideally within the grocery sector 
  
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, make data-driven decisions, experience implementing a  goal orientated business plan  and proven success in a progressive retail business  achieving results set out 
  
• Organization: Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple store locations efficiently
  
• Academic and skills required for this job: 
  
• A full clean Irish driving licence is non negotiable
