Sustainability Manager

Our client are a leading organisation within FMCG industry & are now seeking a Sustainability Manager to join their team based in Dublin 17As the Sustainability Manager you will be instrumental in advancing sustainability initiatives within the organization. You'll spearhead the development and execution of strategies to improve environmental performance, foster social responsibility, and promote sustainable practices throughout our operations.  Key Responsibilities:Lead environmental sustainability efforts and devise strategies, policies, and programs to drive progress across our operations. Collaborate with international teams to establish clear goals and metrics aligned with our overarching sustainability strategy.Proactively assess and enhance current sustainability initiatives to drive ongoing progress and innovation. Communicate expectations and timelines effectively to all stakeholders.Collect, analyse, and report sustainability metrics to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations and industry standards.Serve as a liaison to internal subject matter experts on various sustainability topics. Collaborate with key departments such as Supply Chain, Procurement, and Culinary Development to ensure alignment and implementation of sustainability commitments.Assist in bid proposals and client communications regarding sustainability efforts. Provide support and guidance to clients and operations teams on sustainability best practices.Partner with Marketing and Communications teams to enhance the company's brand reputation through publicizing sustainability initiatives and engaging key stakeholders. Requirements: Experience in advancing sustainability goals, preferably in food, hospitality, or related industries.
Passion for sustainability and driving positive change.
Expertise in sustainable sourcing, carbon footprint reduction, food waste management, or similar areas is desirable.
Technical proficiency in sustainability reporting and data analysis.
Strong communication and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in sustainability or related field preferred.
