We are now looking for a  Woodland Suite Concierge  to join the #MPeople team!

SCOPE OF THE JOB:

Are you a master storyteller, a connoisseur of comfort, and a curator of unforgettable moments?

We are seeking a highly motivated and resourceful individual to fill the unique role of the Woodland Suite Concierge for the upcoming Woodland Suite Experience.

This is not your typical butler position; you are an architect of extraordinary adventures, a weaver of magic within the everyday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage guest/customer complaints
• Taking messages
• Managing mail, luggage and deliveries
• Running errands to assist guests
• Arranging transportation and excursions upon visitor request
• Provide information and recommendations on local features, attractions, shopping, restaurants, dining, entertainment, nightlife, and recreation
• Arranging tours and activities
• Making dinner/event reservations for guests
• Obtaining tickets for events
• Arranging special services
• Providing or arranging for general business services for guests
• Managing customer/guest requests for housekeeping and/or maintenance
• Develop network of contacts, service providers and businesses within their communities to serve guests

Requirement's:

• Full, Clean Drivers Licenses
• Maturity
• Responsible
• Eloquent

Skill Set Preferred:

• People person: Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine warmth and infectious enthusiasm for sharing the magic of Cork.
• Foreign Language Skills: Fluency in English is a must. Additional language skills, particularly European languages common amongst hotel guests, are a plus.
• Event Planning & Coordination: Experience creating and managing unforgettable experiences and customised luxury itineraries for guests.
• Network & Relationship Building: The ability to build strong relationships with local businesses and attractions to secure exclusive access and experiences for guests.
• Sommelier Expertise (Preferred): A strong understanding of wine, regions, and pairing is ideal. Formal Sommelier certification is a significant advantage.
• Storytelling & Public Speaking: The ability to captivate guests with engaging stories about Cork's history, mythology, and hidden gems.
• Discretion & Professionalism: The ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality and navigate guest interactions with grace and finesse.
