F/T & P/T Shop Assistant- Drumbaragh, Kells, Co. Meath - Part-Time

Our client is expanding their team and is on the lookout for a dedicated Full-Time Shop Assistant to contribute to the success of their store. If you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, enjoy assisting customers in a retail environment, and thrive in a collaborative team, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with inquiries, product locations, and purchases.
• To work on the Deli ( Min 1 day per week )
• Provide a positive and welcoming experience for shoppers.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and visually appealing shop layout.
• Contribute to creating attractive displays to showcase products.
• Help with receiving and restocking merchandise.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Operate the cash register accurately for sales transactions.
• Handle cash and provide correct change to customers.
• Ensure the shop area is clean and well-maintained.
• Monitor and replenish shopping bags and other customer necessities.
• Work collaboratively with other shop and store staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Embrace training opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Adapt to changes in product offerings and promotions.
• Contribute ideas to enhance the shop's appeal and competitiveness.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service in a retail setting.
• Worked win food preparation. (making sandwiched, rolls etc etc)
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to work effectively within a team.
• Understanding of basic retail operations and cashiering.
• Full-time hours (Mon - Fri) with weekend availability if/when needed based on the shop's schedule.
