HR Manager - Part-Time

At Excel Recruitment we are currently seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager on behalf of our client based in Kilkenny City. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR procedures and protocols from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies, systems, and procedures in alignment with the company's overall strategy.
• Handle employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary actions, in compliance with company policy and legal requirements.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including creating job descriptions, posting job ads, interviewing candidates, and hiring.
• Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
• Administer employee benefits programmes, including sick pay, maternity leave, and other entitlements.
• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
• Oversee payroll processes in collaboration with the finance department.
• Identify training needs and organise training sessions, focusing on areas such as diversity and inclusion, health and safety, and skill development.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes.
• Coordinate with employment agencies to manage agency staff, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR role, preferably in the warehouse or general operations industry.
• Strong knowledge of Irish HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience working with agency staff.

This is a part-time permanent position, fully office-based offering a pro-rata salary of €50k-€60k DOE.
