Overview

The Area Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales and expanding the customer base within a specific geographical area. They are responsible for leading a team of sales professionals developing sales strategies and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. This role is essential in contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization by building strong customer relationships and maximizing sales opportunities within the designated area.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Manage motivate and guide the sales team to achieve targets and drive performance.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize sales efforts and maximize profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Participate in the recruitment training and development of the sales team.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure cohesive efforts in driving sales and market presence.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities market trends and competitor activities.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales Marketing or relevant field.
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or similar role.

  • Excellent knowledge of sales strategies and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
