Position Description for IMCOM – Assistant Program Manager

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Program Manager to join our team. The Assistant Program Manager will support the Program Manager in overseeing the execution of a government contract, ensuring compliance with government policies, and maintaining high operational management standards. The role requires a proactive approach to project management, strong analytical skills, and effective communication across various teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Program Manager in all facets of project execution.
Help in maintaining contract compliance and quality control measures.
Support the coordination between project teams and government officials.
Contribute to the preparation and submission of project documentation and reports.
Act as the Program Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless project continuity.
Facilitate communications and meetings between project stakeholders.
Assist in the analysis of project data to ensure alignment with government requirements.
Requirements:
Must be a United States Citizen.
A bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in government project management may substitute for education.
Experience in supporting the management of large-scale government projects.
Understanding of government policies and procedures.
Strong analytical and time management skills.
Capable of independent decision-making and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Availability to work onsite during normal business hours and as required by project demands.
