Vento is the Italian chapter of Exor Ventures, a VC fund investing in the best founders globally. Since 2018, Exor Ventures has backed over 75 startups globally, investing approximately $1 billion. At Vento, we focus on three core activities: Investments, Venture Building, and Italian Tech Week.

Vento Investments: Over the past two years, we've invested in more than 60 early-stage startups led by outstanding Italian founders. Our goal is to achieve 100 investments annually, offering a standard ticket of €150,000 with founder-friendly terms.

Vento Venture Building: We identify top talents even before they have an idea or a team, guiding them through a 5-month company building process. In the last three editions, we've seen 20 startups emerge, with 10 becoming part of our portfolio. The 2024 cohort is underway, and we're excited to foster the birth of new startups.

Italian Tech Week: This flagship conference brings together investors, founders, and industry leaders to discuss technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Past speakers have included prominent figures such as Peter Thiel, Reid Hoffman, Xavier Niel, Daniel Ek, and Brian Chesky. The upcoming conference will be held in Turin on September 25-27, with Sam Altman as a guest speaker.

As a Recruitment & Operations Intern at Vento, your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Talent Scouting:  Searching for and contacting top talent for the next edition of Vento Venture Building
• Talent Selection:  Assist in recruiting exceptional talents for the upcoming Vento Venture Building cohort, conducting interviews, and making final selections.
• Operational Management: As an integral member of our operations team, you will ensure seamless operational flow. Your responsibilities include coordinating communication with candidates, managing schedules, and liaising with external assessors. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in nurturing our community of founders. This involves facilitating ongoing discussions on Slack, supporting users on Notion, and identifying valuable partnerships to enhance our network's value and reach.
• Event Support: Help coordinate events such as Italian Tech Week, selection boot camps, and the Exor Ventures Founders' Dinner.
