The incumbent must have previous Hospitality industry event management exposure.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all Event management / coordination functions under your charge. This will include but is not limited, to core areas such as customer relations, customer services, market intelligence, reports and any related event management / coordination initiatives, budgeting, forecasting.
• Responsible to coordinate events with relevant internal, external bodies and providers / suppliers. This will include but is not limited to government bodies / authorities, accommodation / transportation / attraction / foods and beverage providers, retailers, tour agents and any related event initiatives.
• Responsible to prepare timely and accurate management reports.
• Ensure that all events under your charge are performed in the most effective and efficient manner.
• Work with other departments to further enhance the profitability of Company.
• Responsible for ensuring that all standards established are adhered to.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Event Management, or equivalent.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team with at least 5 years of experience managing events.
• Exposure to  Hospitality / Tourism industry event management is a prerequisite.
