Project Engineer | Penang

Job Description:

• Supervise site work, monitor on-site activities, and manage the coordination of work performed at the construction site to meet technical specification. 
• Collaborate with the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and manage construction activities including budgeting control, scheduling, quality control, manpower/resources allocation and monitor progress of the project.
• Prepare and submit required documents / information for consultant / client approval before site possession.
• Prepare RFI and attend site work done inspection with consultant and client representative.
• Attend Site Progress Meetings, Subcontractor Meetings, Client Consultant Meetings and Site Inspection to be updated on progress and address project-related issues.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors to anticipate and resolve all technical and operations issues arising at projects.
• Act as a liaison between the client / consultant and the site team, handling technical matters and coordinating with site supervisors and coordinators.
• Receive and disseminate construction drawings to the site, ensuring that all team members have access to the necessary documentation.
• Thoroughly review and identify discrepancies between Architectural and MEP Drawings, taking proactive measures to resolve any conflicts.
• Prepare Shop Drawings and As-Built Drawings for final approval by the Consultant / Client.
• Oversee the overall construction planning and ensure that projects are completed on schedule.
• Address client complaints related to defective work and work on resolution with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and update site progress report to management.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum educational qualifications at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma or Degree, preferably in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering and or equivalent. 
• At least 3 years of working experience related to design, site management and supervision in Construction Industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Auto-Cad.
• Communication skills in English, Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia
• Own transport. 
• Based in Penang.
• Monday - Saturday.
