Operations Associate

Job description:

The Operations Associate at Petron Malaysia is a key member of the operations team, responsible for overseeing various aspects of day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the company. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities: 1. Support the Operations Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating operational activities. 2. Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. 3. Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficient execution of operational initiatives. 5. Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget. 6. Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes within the operations department. 7. Provide support in troubleshooting operational issues and resolving conflicts as they arise. 8. Act as a liaison between various departments to facilitate communication and streamline operations.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry. 3. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members. 5. Proficient in project management tools and software. 6. Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure. 7. Confidence and energy to lead projects and drive operational improvements. 8. A strong team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
