Waiter / Waitress

Your Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations.
• Ensures proper appearance (condition of uniforms) and grooming whilst on duty.
• Handles the guest greeting upon arrival and their seating through the hostess.
• Maintains a professional/friendly, yet discreet relationship with the guests
• Familiarize with all menus, promotions, and other relevant issues concerning restaurant.
• Reports cleanliness and maintenance issues to the immediate manager.
• Handles guest complaints as per instructions or consults the immediate manager.
• Does all mis-en-place work according to the whole day service requirements.
• Attends all regular departmental briefings and contributes to an open communication within the assigned team.
• To ensure that a check is made and recorded in the POS system for every food & beverage sale in the outlet.
• To open a guest check in the POS system, punching orders, splitting, and transferring tables, settling checks as cash, room charge, credit card or city ledger.

Requirements

• Fresh graduates from Hotel Management School or SPM Leavers are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to communicate fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia and able to work with all levels of staff.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays.
• Location: Tamarind Springs, Ampang

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
