BIM Coordinator

As a BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes throughout all phases of construction projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization of BIM technology for design, coordination, and project management purposes.

Responsibilities:

BIM Implementation:

• Lead the implementation of BIM standards, procedures, and protocols for the project.
• Develop BIM execution plans and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Provide training and support to project team members on BIM software and processes.

Model Management:

• Create and maintain BIM models for various project elements, including architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Coordinate the integration of discipline-specific models to ensure clash detection and resolution.
• Manage model revisions and ensure accuracy and consistency across all project documentation.

Coordination:

• Facilitate coordination meetings and clash detection sessions with project stakeholders.
• Identify clashes and conflicts within BIM models and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
• Communicate clash resolutions and model updates to the project team in a timely manner.

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular reviews of BIM models to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Verify the accuracy of BIM data and information to support decision-making processes.
• Implement best practices for model organization, naming conventions, and file management.

Collaboration:

• Foster collaboration and communication among project team members to maximize the benefits of BIM technology.
• Interface with external consultants and subcontractors to exchange BIM data and coordinate project deliverables.
• Assist in the development of 4D (time) and 5D (cost) BIM models to support project scheduling and estimating activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols.
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models for complex construction projects.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Preferably with Data Center experiences.
