Bookkeeper (Quickbooks)

We are excited to welcome a meticulous Bookkeeper to our dynamic team in New York! Your role will be instrumental in managing the financial data for multiple entities. This position demands a diligent professional with an exceptional eye for detail and a strong passion for precise data entry.

The Role

• Manage daily bookkeeping and data entry across all entities using QuickBooks.
• Ensure accurate categorization of transactions in the correct accounts.
• Handle invoicing, vendor billing, and management of credit card statements.
• Prepare for eventual responsibility of financial reconciliation.
• Understand and utilize financial statements, including profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheets, to maintain accurate records.
• Apply basic Excel formulas to organize and analyze financial data.
• Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Ideal Profile

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop version preferred, though familiarity with online is acceptable).

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to enter data accurately as trained.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
