As Channel Sales Manager, you are part of oursales team and you will be tasked with managing relationship withchannel partners, such as distributors, dealers, lead finders, aswell as customers. Meantime, you will have to find the appropriatebusiness channel partners to drive the sales of the company’sproducts and services.
We are looking for anexperienced Channel Sales Manager which is customer-oriented andresult oriented to grow our company to achieve another newmilestone of sales achievement. You are necessary to have strongcommunication, negotiation, and leadership skills, along with adeep understanding of sales dynamics and distribution channels, inexpanding market reach, drive revenue growth and maintain strongpartnerships with channel stakeholders.
This isa full-time position to support Southeast Asia and South Asia, andyou are expected to be frequent travel to these regions.
Responsibilities :
• Design, developing, and implement channel strategies tomaximize sales through various distribution channels, consideringfactors such as market demand, competition, and targetcustomers.
• Identify and recruit new channelpartners, including distributors, dealers, lead finders, and otherrelevant partners.
• Establish and maintainstrong relationships with channel partners, providing support toensure their engagement and commitment to selling the company'sproducts/services.
• Conduct market research andanalysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive threatswithin assigned channels.
• Set sales targetsand objectives for channel partners, monitor performance, andprovide regular feedback and support to optimize saleseffectiveness.
• Negotiate contracts andagreements with channel partners, outlining terms and conditionsfor sales, distribution, pricing, and support.
•Collaborate with internal teams, including business and productdevelopment, marketing, and operations, to support channelinitiatives and ensure alignment with overall businessobjectives.
• Collaborate with businessdevelopment and marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns,marketing materials, and sales tools tailored to each distributionchannel.
• Provide training, product knowledge,and ongoing support to channel partners to ensure channel partnershave the necessary skills and resources to effectively sell thecompany's products/services. • Identify, build and maintain KeyAccounts to expand the relationships and market share. Work closelywith associated business partners, and thus maintain and developthe strategic relationship with the Key Accounts.
• Prepare and present reports, forecasts, andrecommendations to management on channel sales performance andinitiatives.
Qualifications /Requirements
• Bachelor's degreein business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a relatedfield.
• 10 years of experience in channel salesmanagement or a similar role, preferably in the flexible packagingindustry.
• Knowledge of flexible packaginglaboratory equipment is a plus.
• Proven trackrecord of success in developing and managing channel partnerrelationships and driving sales growth.
• Strongunderstanding of sales principles, distribution channels, andmarket dynamics.
• Excellent communication,negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Abilityto multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively in afast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in CRMsoftware and Microsoft Office suite.
• Possessown transport and willing to travel 90% of working timedomestically, Southeast Asia and SouthAsia.
