A leading manufacturing MNC based company is currently looking for an experienced finance manager to further improve current existing accounting structures and to lead a team. Client Details A well known manufacturing company with a strong MNC background Description

• Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with production, sales, and other departments to develop accurate and realistic budgets and financial forecasts for the plant. Monitor and analyze variances between actual results and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and providing insights for course correction.
  • Cost Management: Analyze and manage the plant's manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, and overhead expenses. Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve profitability.
  • Financial Modeling: Create financial models to support decision-making related to production planning, capital expenditures, and other plant operations.
  Financial Reporting & Accounting:
  • Oversee the plant's accounting function: Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. This may include accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed asset management.
  • Prepare financial statements: Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the plant, adhering to accounting standards.
  • Consolidation: Consolidate the plant's financial results with the company's overall financial statements (if applicable).
  Plant Operations Support:
  • Inventory Management: Work with production and purchasing departments to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.
  • Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) Analysis: Regularly analyze the plant's COGS to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Project Finance: Participate in the financial evaluation of capital expenditure projects for the plant.
  Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure the plant adheres to all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the plant's financial assets and mitigate financial risks.

Profile

• A Degree accountant or Accounting Professional Paper holder with a minimum of 4-7 years of experience in accounting and finance
• Strong understanding in Financial Accounting and Reporting
• Knowledgeable in Operational Accounting
• Solid stakeholder management and communication skills
• Team leadership experience
• Manufacturing background exposure

Job Offer

• MYR 13,000 - MYR 15,000 Monthly
