Operations Executive

Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

• Monitor of total warehouse management & local distribution activities such Inbound/Outbound operations inclusive of picking, checking, packing and dispatch activity.
• Report to Operation Manager on the Daily operations issues.
• Ensure day to day operations compliance with GPMD standards.
• Business to Consumer Experience is added advantage.

Duties

• Determine accountabilities of direct reports and develop and train directs reports to ensure appropriate succession planning for the site.
• Manage operational planning to ensure customer service levels are achieved and improved.
• Liaise with customer, either directly or through direct report to ensure customer service expectations are being met through the development, implementation and management of liaison and feedback processes.
• Develop (where appropriate) and manage all customer and operational KPI's including actively managing the process by charring /attending meetings, following up issues and establishing processes to improve operational and customer KPI's.
• Manage operational and management/operation reports and action to improve as required. Ensure Site operational costs are minimized, and profit targets are being achieved.
• Perform other tasks for which the person is trained, qualified and competent to perform, as direct by senior management.
• Continuously improve own skills base by attending internal/external training as required.
• To organize the operational structure and ensure a consistently high standard performance from the operations employee, which is achieved by organization, good teamwork, effective communication, consistent positive result and continuous improvement.
• To manage, measure and take corrective action to ensure that inbound service quality meets our customer requirement and company standards.
• To manage, measure and take corrective action in order to ensure that outbound service quality meets our customer requirement and company standards.
• Review and proactively seek customer service improvement with extra miles to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all inbound, outbound and inventory document are well organized and file accordingly.
• To manage and control cost, whilst ensuring operational service quality standards are continuously met.
• Liaise with auditors and co donate the audit.
• Ensure audit is carried out on timely basis.
• To lead operations excellence in LEAN, Kaizen, 5S and etc.
