RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project goals and objectives. Develop project plans and timelines, considering all relevant environmental and regulatory factors. Prepare and execute the detailed engineering designs. Oversee the preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications and cost estimates. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and obtain the necessary permits and approvals for the projects. Ensure project compliance. Collaborate with construction team to execute and ensure the quality and progress of the construction. Conduct site visits and inspections to confirm that construction activities meet design specifications and regulatory requirements. Address and resolve any construction issues or challenges that may arise. Manage project budgets, timelines and resources effectively. Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors and regulatory agencies. Prepare progress report and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. REQUIREMENTS QS with relevant experiences are encouraged to apply. Preferably candidates with extension working experience in road construction. Minimum Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Quantity surveying or its equivalent. Minimum ten (10) years working experience in Construction Projects, in similar position or related working experience. In-depth understanding of road construction procedures, technical and project management principles. Good leadership and interpersonal skill to communicate with other team members. Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, multi task, problem solving skills, independent and able to meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in English & Malay. Computer literate. Able to work in Tuaran, Sabah.
