Principal Function
As a Regional Sales Executive for the oral care business, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies to drive revenue and market share growth in Southeast Asia. You will manage and support a network of distributors, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives in Southeast Asia.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective distributors, providing support, training, and guidance as needed to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to assess performance, address issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to develop and execute promotional activities, product launches, and pricing strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for product differentiation and market positioning.
- Analyse sales data and market information to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement in sales performance.
- Travel within the Southeast Asia region as needed to meet with distributors, attend trade shows, and participate in sales meetings and events.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in the oral care or dental industry, with a focus on managing distributors.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in the Japanese language is a plus. Have basic knowledge of supply chain or experience in managing import and export.
- Able to handle vast amount of documentation work, including preparing reports.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth through effective distributor management and relationship-building.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Results-oriented with a sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Southeast Asia region.
