Full job description

You are highly result oriented, a driver and hands-on in delivering projects. As a Special Projects Lead, you are responsible for managing all aspects of the new project, planning out and executing the project till completion. Essentially you will be setting up new businesses for the company.

Job Scope:

• Work with the Executive Director to translate strategies and ideas into business plans.
• Identify the project goals, objectives and scope and create an executable project plan with people, resources, timeline and milestones and secure the cooperation of all relevant stakeholders.
• Review and monitor the project plan against financial forecast and budget.
• Implement and manage each project, reporting on progress and highlighting issues, managing and mitigating risks effectively.
• Manage third party vendors, partners, including land / building owners, negotiate and ensure smooth cooperation and understanding on all parties.
• Work with admin team to secure all relevant permits and approvals, meeting and collaborating with regulatory authorities if necessary.
• Analyse progress of projects and identify areas for process improvements.
• Partner closely with operations, HR, finance and sales & marketing management to ensure the business strategy is well executed.
• Undertake relevant research, identify roadblocks and leverage on network and understanding to resolve issues.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Tourism Management or a related field
• Min 8 years of proven operational experience in project management, hands-on in ability to execute, set up and complete new projects and work with various parties within the entertainment, hospitality, or theme park industry.
• Also experienced in property management, construction related projects, indoor leasing and venue management.
• All rounder person with excellent and strong leadership, management skill, communication skills
• Matured with strong cultural awareness and highly result oriented
• Familiarity with property management, safety protocols and regulations
• Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving ability to drive process controls / improvements / effectiveness
• Strong planning, execution and analytical capabilities
• Ability to negotiate, convince and deliver insights to ensure progress and improvements are delivered
