Staff Nurse

STAFF NURSE:

CRITERIA:

• Possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Diploma graduate in Nursing.
• Registered with the Malaysia Board of Nursing. 
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

1. Assist doctor during consultations, surgeries and other medical procedures.
2. Ensure proper handling and disposal of clinical and domestic waste.
3. Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment. 
4. Assist patients during the registration process, accurately collecting and recording necessary information. 
5. Address patients with inquiries and concerns with empathy.
6. Perform simple vision tests and procedures for patients, as required, following established protocols and procedures.
7. Manage phone calls and appointments, including sending appointment reminders to patients.
8. Assist patients in processing insurance claims, completing necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
9. Collect payments from patients during the discharge process.
10. Provide information and proper counselling to patients during discharge process. 
11. Maintain daily sales records and perform settlement procedures in compliance with the policies. 
12. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the clinic, including waiting areas and restrooms.
