About this Fashion Designer Role:


You will be responsible for creating eye-catching, innovative designs that will propel the brand to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing design process from conception through to final styling
Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics, techniques and seeking new design inspiration
Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, and creating new concepts
Ensuring product is in line with business strategy and concept
Selecting fabrics and trims
Creating production sketches for development
Reviewing product for style and fit during presentation
Presenting story, mood boards, and samples to managers
Able to do hijab styling and also involved in all photo shoots

In order to succeed in this Fashion Designer role, you must have a winning mentality, passionate in learning about the industry and able to cope with fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in design or fine arts, or college degree
Experienced working with a well-known modest fashion brand/scarf brand
Two to three years' working experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, pattern making, and sewing
Availability to travel for research and product development
Ability to sketch by hand
Excellent design and conceptual skills
Excellent sense of style and colour
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to meet deadlines
Team player and able to work together with colleagues
