Assistant Planner - Get Hired Fast

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide Range Plan feedback in advance prior to start of season to concept
• Indicative Launch plan for all the options of the season for warehouse to plan
• Follow up with warehouse on season launches and identify requirements of pre-launches based on performance of product in stores.
• Follow with logistics on all pending shipments and prioritize clearance based on store requirements
• Ensure key category launches happen on time for speciality department’s example Holiday shop, swimwear, back to school etc.
• Identify Poor sellers and fast movers within the season and take appropriate action
• Consolidate fast sellers to relevant stores
• Ensure all store received goods are active and displayed on floor and not held up in back room.
• Alert stores on non-moving and non-selling (0% sell through) of new released merchandises greater than 7 days.
• Ensure balance between top / mid / all stores regarding supporting stock to achieve sales are maintained
• Check fill rate in stores against capacity at least twice a week and take necessary action to satisfy store need.
• Based on the previous day’s sales replenishment to be run daily. 
• Never out of stock product levels are monitored separately on a weekly basis. Any discrepancies in need that arise at warehouse due to insufficient stocks need to be highlighted to concept on a monthly basis.
• Prepare trade detail along with MIS team on regular basis to provide feedback on product/store performance and actions to be taken on out of line situations and communicate to concept.
• Considering the following: Forward cover reports, pipeline stocks, aging reports, lost sales. Stock outs, margins

Planning (Seasonally)

• End of Season – Follow up with warehouse minimum 4 weeks prior to event on old stocks and identify cartons to be dispatched to the relevant stores
• Ensure seasonal promotions are executed and implemented on time.
