Legal Associate - Urgent Position

Job Responsibilities:

• This position requires supporting Chinese language markets in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
• Responsibility in handling contracts, provide legal advice to different business units in different regional markets.
• Prepare documentation including basic contract terms, proposal, compliance, proofreading, modifications.
• Review and to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies.
• Advise and identify legal and business risks and exposures associated with their business. 
• Closely liaise with business managers in a wide range of commercial contracts related legal issues.
• Maintain a proper filing system for the legal and commercial documents.
• Review corporate documents prepared by external corporate secretary. 
• Liaise with internal and external parties for follow up. 
• Other related tasks assigned from time to time. 

Job Requirements:

• LLB, PQE 3+ years.
• Experience in in-house would be highly desired.
• Highly ethical, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Independent, meticulous, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality work requiring little or no checking.
• Able to manage large amounts of documents, prioritize assignments, multitask, and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 
• Proficient with MS Office applications. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Traditional Chinese).
