Senior Executive, Warehouse

Monitors and supports the entire warehousing operations including receiving and distribution of goods by initiating, coordinating and enforcing programs, operational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities :

1. Operation Management

• Supervises daily activities of warehouse, including department’s work flow and work coordination, inventory control, space management, floor productivity and delivery arrangement.
• Ensure the completion of warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees with proper follow-up of work results.
• To support on relevant non-conformance issues and production quality issue through the proper data analysis.

2. Inventory Management and Work Flow Control

• Operates WMS & M3 to make sure physical stocks tally with system.
• Ensure all the warehouse documentations of DO, PR, GRV and etc. are accurate and with proper filing.
• Create and/or maintain all relevant warehouse documentation including change management / operations process and productivity.
• Ensure all inventories on hand are handled properly in M3 system throughout the reconciliation process and month end closing.
• Manages the loading and unloading of containers to meet closing date for reducing unnecessary charges of detention, demurrage and port and etc.
• Manages ASRS inventory level as well as the traceability of its incoming and outgoing stocks with coordination and enforcement of ASRS daily target to contribute for warehouse delivery.
• Participate in the inventory reduction efforts and other warehouse control related enterprise initiatives.
• Ensures warehouse facilities, equipment and tools are properly maintained and complied with safety guidelines.

3. People Management

• Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.

4. Safety and System Compliance

• To be fully proactive & aware of occupational health and safety standards at workplace, ensure full compliance and also safeguarding oneself, colleagues, and the Company from any detrimental incidents.

7.   Perform any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• Required language(s): English
• Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking customers
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
• Possess good leadership, inter-personal and communication skills
• Strong in analytical and detail-oriented aptitude
• Able to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome
• Proactive, self-starter and able to prioritize the work in multi-tasking environment
• Computer Literacy : Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• At least 2 years working experience in the scope/field of warehouse
• Preferably candidates specializing in manufacturing - warehouse operations or equivalent.
• Location of workplace is in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor.
