Warehouse Operation Senior Executive / Assistant Manager / Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services, supervising staff.
Managing warehouse equipment effectively and efficiently.
Liaises with vendors accordingly to ensure no interruption in daily operational activities.
Safeguards warehouse & trucking operations and contents by establishing and monitoring safety procedures.
Work closely with internal customer service in delivering shipment as schedule and handle enquiry as require.
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with Warehouse Management System.
Achieve Departmental Key Performance Indicator (KPI) sets.
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing inspecting, issuing requisition for replacement and repair.
Completes warehouse & trucking operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
Maintains staff training employees, coaching, counselling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
Ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties.
Monitor and report on transportation costs, report maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles and equipment.
Research and suggest cost-effective trucking methods.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Conduct regular safety audits on equipment.
Stay up-to-date with safety regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor degree in any discipline (preferably in Warehouse/Logistics Operations or relevant field).
5 year working experience as Warehouse & Trucking Operations Assistant Manager/ Manager.
Specialise in logistics, distribution and haulage companies.
Possess knowledge in ISO 9001:2015, Good Distributions Practice for Medical Devices (GDPMD), Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Experience in handling internal and external audit as auditee and auditor.
Exposes with Clean Room Grade C and D Working Environment will be an added advantage.
Ability to cope with stress working environment and long hour working.
Possess good team working skills, managerial skills, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
Experience in dealing with local authority such as BOMBA, Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia, Royal Malaysian Customs, Insurance companies and other relevant parties.
