-Technical Support: Providing assistance to users encountering technical issues with hardware, software, or network systems. This involves troubleshooting problems and offering solutions either remotely or in person. -Hardware Maintenance: Installing, configuring, and maintaining physical hardware components such as desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals. This may also involve diagnosing hardware faults and coordinating repairs or replacements. -Software Support: Assisting users with software-related issues including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of operating systems, productivity software, business applications, and specialized software tools. -User Training: Conducting training sessions or providing instructional materials to help users understand and effectively use hardware and software resources. -Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations. Creating and updating user guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to facilitate self-service support for common issues. -Remote Support: Utilizing remote access tools to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for users located off-site or in remote locations. -Security Compliance: Enforcing security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT systems and data. This may involve installing security updates, patches, and antivirus software, as well as educating users on best practices for data security. -Inventory Management: Tracking hardware and software assets, including procurement, deployment, and retirement of IT assets. This includes maintaining an up-to-date inventory of equipment and software licenses. -Communication: Effectively communicating technical information to non-technical users in a clear and understandable manner. Providing timely updates and status reports on support tickets and ongoing projects. -Collaboration: Collaborating with other IT staff members, such as system administrators, network engineers, and developers, to resolve complex technical issues and implement system upgrades or enhancements. -Cloud Management: Monitor Billing of overall project, Monitor server and Server Health maintenance, Hardening and Standardize projects, Project level creation include server network and more GCP component. -Domain Management: Maintain domain hosting on different sites which include cloudflare, Hostinger, name.com and exabytes, DNS record configuration [Apply now at https://my.hiredly.com/jobs/jobs-malaysia-claritas-consulting-asia-job-group-it-intern] - Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field would be preferred. However, some positions may accept an associate degree or relevant certifications combined with practical experience. -Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues is essential. Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), productivity software (Microsoft Office, G Suite), and business applications is required. Familiarity with remote access tools, antivirus software, and security protocols is also necessary. -Certifications: While not always mandatory, certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent industry certifications can enhance the candidate's credentials. -Experience: Typically, 1-3 years of experience in IT support roles would be desirable. This could include experience in providing technical assistance, hardware maintenance, software support, and user training in a professional setting. -Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effectively interacting with users of varying technical backgrounds.
