Chat Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for a Chat Support Specialist to join our team at British American Tobacco Malaysia in Malacca City, Melaka. As a Chat Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing customer support through online chat platforms. This is a part-time position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers through online chat to provide timely and accurate support - Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional and efficient manner - Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team member - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience - Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

Requirements: - Driven and resourceful personality traits - Strong negotiation and strategic planning skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a chat support role - Ability to multitask and work well under pressure - Proficiency in using online chat platforms and customer service software - Flexible schedule and availability to work part-time hours
