The Senior Fullstack Software Engineer is a key member of our Verity Engineering team that sits within our Technology division. Reporting into the Manager of Engineer for Verity, this role builds and maintains a variety of web applications used by both internal and external users. Verity is a proprietary GumGum-built service that exposes GumGum’s AI capabilities including Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision. 

This Senior Full Stack Engineer will be available during US-based working hours to be the main point of contact for the development and maintenance of all Verity applications. This person will also play a pivotal role in primary Verity-related initiatives for the whole company. As one of the biggest and most dynamic divisions within GumGum, you will be working in a team that prioritizes skill sharing, learning, and personal & professional growth.

Note: This position offers the opportunity for remote work or 'work from home' as there isn't a nearby office. What You'll Achieve

• Design and enhance React web applications with new features.
• Develop backend functionalities using Python, AWS Services, and GraphQL.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
• Resolve user-reported issues swiftly and effectively.
• Work with DevOps, Designers, and Product teams to deliver top-notch solutions.

Skills You'll Bring

• Degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking, logical skills, and creativity for out-of-the-box solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
• Attention to detail, self-starter, ability to manage multiple projects, and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
