Retail Planner

As Retail Planner , you’ll take ownership of the planning and trading processes within our DTC Partner Program businesses and ensure the correct weighting is balanced across the range to deliver the commercial & strategic objectives. You’ll use your vast planning experience and keen problem solving skills, to ensure we provide the perfect balance of products for our customers and optimal stock levels to meet seasonal demand.

Your decisions will have a direct impact on the success of ASICS’ retail performance as you showcase the brand’s strengths and boost our bottom line. You’ll show your flair for forecasting through effective range planning and clear transitional strategies that align with our wider business aims.

Based out of our EMEA Headquarters , just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands and reporting to DTC Partner Programs Planning Team Lead, Ben , as part of the role you’ll:

• Develop financial strategies and product assortment plans together with merchandising team to meet consumers demand, optimize stock availability and maximize sales opportunities.
• Create Merchandising Financial Planning (MFP) taking into account all KPI's.
• Create and maintain reports & analysis to lead weekly performance reviews by delivering effective trading strategies to maximize in seasons trade performance.
• Develop trading strategies to optimize sell through
• Provide a clear reporting suite to monitor key KPIs and product performance
• Actively participate in forecasting of future stock levels to maximize sales opportunities
• Support the team in streamlining and evolving processes/ ways of working

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience in Demand or Retail Planning
• Solid and demonstrable experience with retail math’s, financial planning and inventory planning
• Strong analytical skills
• Good presentation skills, especially when communicating financial strategies
• First-rate forecasting skills and commercial awareness
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Advanced Excel skills
• Track record of translating visual merchandising principles into financial goals
• Proactive approach with ability to design and drive process improvements
