Retail POS Architect

The organisation This partner is an internationally operating retail organization with over 3000 stores worldwide. You will be working at the HQ in the Amsterdam area, this is the heart of the IT organization where all strategies are set out on a global scale. As the organization keeps growing on a global scale and opening stores every month, they are investing in The position As Retail POS Architect, you will be the bridge between the business and IT regarding the POS landscape. You play a crucial role in gathering the business requirements of the retail department and translate these to the right POS solution to optimize the store experience for the customer. You will be involved in several projects that will help this organization to keep growing worldwide. Your responsibilities: Taking the lead in several POS projects and rollouts on a global scale; Gathering the business requirements and integrating these in the POS architecture; Be involved in designing templates for rollouts in new countries; Stakeholder management on all levels in the organization, both internally and externally. Quality control for the external partners. Skills and knowledge Minimal 10 years experience in POS systems; Minimal 5 years experience in POS architecture; Experience in managing 3 rd party suppliers and implementation partners; Experience with SAP integrations is a plus; Strong stakeholder management skills; Good communication skills in English; Benefits Salary package of €85.000 – €100.000 gross per year Significant bonus component 27 holidays per year Hybrid working culture
