Make your mark as a decisive and result-oriented Financial Controller who is always looking for the story behind the numbers. In this role you interact daily in a dynamic working environment with internal & external stakeholders such as the Project Controllers and Operations in Papendrecht as well as international project offices. You pro-actively keep track on the balance sheet, by communicating and connecting with the ongoing projects.

For you as a finance professional, Boskalis offers various opportunities in the role of Financial Controller. You will be part of the Finance and Control Department of Seabed Intervention - Boskalis Seabed Intervention delivers integrated solutions for subsea infrastructure related projects in the offshore energy market, i.e. oil & gas and renewables.

Your responsibilities as a Financial Controller

In the role of Financial Controller you report to the Business Unit Controller and you are a sparring partner for all colleagues from the same department. You will work from the Papendrecht office and you are responsible for:

• Creating monthly and quarterly financial reports
• Analyzing, taking care of and advice on the AO/IC regarding projects, processes and systems;
• Contributing to the development and professionalizing the AO/IC
• Managing relationships at the project and business unit level
• Participating in various (partial) projects to support the business unit controller in further developing and professionalizing the controlling function of the department.

You are the Financial Controller we are looking for if you

• Have a bachelor degree in Business Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy or qualifications / experience equivalent to a degree
• At least have 5 years of experience as a Controller in an international environment;
• Have experience in Excel, ERP systems (Infor LN or likewise), Onestream, BI tooling;
• Have a good command of English in both word and writing;
• Are a team player with good communication skills;
• Are flexible, analytically strong, goal oriented and stress resistant.
