ACE is known for its flat hierarchy and open communication. There are regular get-togethers and every few months we organise team events. As we are a growing company, this position could potentially be a steppingstone towards a more full-time position.

ACE is seeking a analytical and detail-oriented Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis. The candidate will focus on researching emerging trends and identifying key players in the AI and regulatory change landscape. You will work in close collaboration with our experts and development team. Your insights will directly influence our strategic decisions by identifying potential partnerships, understanding competitors and help shape the application of AI in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of the market to identify and evaluate companies that provide AI and regulatory technology solutions in the financial sector.
• Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and analyse competitors’ strategies, market positioning, and product offerings to benchmark ACE’s performance and identify competitive threats.
• Partnership Identification: Identify and assess potential strategic partners that can enhance our technology offerings or market reach.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to predict shifts in the regulatory and technological landscape.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share insights and support strategic initiatives; and manage external stakeholders to understand product offerings.

ACE is looking for an enthusiastic and fun new colleague that is eager to learn more about the financial industry, AI and regulatory change. As for your skills and qualifications, we expect the following:

• Languages: You have a Professional Working Proficiency of Engels. Proficiency in Dutch is an advantage but not required
• Education: Finished a Master's degree or currently doing a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: Experience with market research, competitive analysis, or similar, preferably within the technology or financial services sectors.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in the financial sector is highly desirable.
  • Curious about the future developments of AI

What does ACE offer: This is a part-time position with flexible hours for 16-24 hours per week, and compensation in accordance with industry standard (€15 gross per hour).
