Key responsibilities

• Manages the month/quarter/year end closing process to meet local and group deadlines
• Manage the external audit for the business units
• Responsible for the business units' Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Monitors internal controls
• Ensure accounting policies are compliant with the Group policies and local regulations
• Serve as contact point between the company and external accountants
• Cash Management and Forecasting
• Handle ad-hoc projects
• Responsible for monthly reconciliation reviews
• Payroll payment administration
• Maintain, develop, and automate financial reporting processes
• Revenue recognition reconciliation
• Prepare monthly / quarterly board reporting

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, audit or similar subject with minimum 3 years’ relevant experience from accounting/auditing or similar role, or substantial experience from accounting or similar role.
• Strong accounting competence
• Strong in English (Oral and written)
• Strong analytical skills and strong MS Office suite skills
• Xledger experience is an advantage
• Fluent English - speaking and writing
• Norwegian speaking advantage
