Project Manager - Painting - Urgent Hiring

Our client, a respected painting contractor with over thirty years of expertise in transforming both commercial and residential spaces, is on the lookout for a committed Project Manager who shares their dedication to delivering high quality projects and surpassing clients' expectations.

Position Overview:
As a Project Manager, you'll take on a client-facing role, overseeing teams delivering painting projects, ensuring they're completed on time, within budget, and with exceptional quality. Collaborate with senior leadership to drive the ongoing success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise, and manage painting projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Conduct project assessments to determine scope and requirements, providing accurate quotations.
• Lead and inspire a team of painters, subcontractors, and support staff to achieve project objectives.
• Maintain open communication with clients, addressing concerns promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resources for cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Implement quality control measures to uphold high standards of painting services.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Attend necessary team and project meetings.

Successful Candidates Will:

• Possess a background in the painting trade.
• Ideally have experience as a project manager in the painting industry or a strong painting trade background with readiness to transition into this role.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of products, methods, and projects within the painting industry.
• Exhibit effective leadership and team management skills.
• Excel in communication and interpersonal skills with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Showcase strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Have excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Pay exceptional attention to detail and take pride in their work.
• Be well-versed in health and safety regulations in New Zealand.
• Possess intermediate computer skills for administrative tasks.
• Be a reliable team member with a positive outlook.
