Carpet and Restoration Technician - Dynamic Team

Have you ever wanted ‘better work stories’?  If so, we have the job for you!  When working as a Carpet and Restoration Technician with Chem-Dry Harbour City, no two days are ever the same – one day you’ll be responding to flooding in a commercial building then clearing out a hoarding situation. The next day you’ll be cleaning the carpets and upholstery at residential homes then cleaning up after a serious incidents.  If you’re looking for an exciting job with industry development, and aren’t afraid to roll-up your sleeves and get stuck in, please read on.

About you:

• Ability to build rapport with customers and have excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication, maths and English skills, and be tech savvy
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Reliable, self-motivated and have a can do attitude
• Fit, healthy and physically capable
• Have a Full Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Available for rostered weekends and after hour call-outs
• It would be advantageous if you have a trade experience, are completing an apprenticeship, or have a technical qualification.

As part of the role, you will need to pass a police/criminal convictions check and pass the IICRC - Water Damage Restoration Technician Course which will be paid for.

You MUST be entitled to live and work in New Zealand to be considered for this role.
