Engineering Team Lead - Generous Compensation

ABOUT THIS ROLE

This is a newly created role and has the responsibility to manage and drive the MEX Computerized Maintenance Management System to ensure Asset Management is accurate and for Preventative Maintenance to be scheduled, planned, and executed on time by the NZHM Engineering team and any external service contractors.
This role will have a strong focus on collaboration with mentoring and training both Engineering team members and Manufacturing team members to deliver the Engineering Departments KPI’s.

It is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday on-site, 8:00am - 4:30pm and report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities listed below but not limited to,

• Through use of MEX develops, implements, and supervises maintenance plans to meet plant improvement and performance needs, management of PM Backlog and ensures MEX (CMMS) is kept at a GMP standard for internal and external Audits.
• Takes the lead in training and maintaining high standards within the Engineering team.
• Develops training plans for production teams on critical site equipment within production (eg; Hard-Shell Encapsulation, Soft Gel Encapsulation, Tabletting).
• Assisting and mentoring the team and proficient use of RCA tools.
• Optimizes maintenance strategies. Responsible for analysing equipment, operating data, reports that feed into NZHM Engineering teams KPI’s.
• Designing, plans, control diagrams and approve drawings as per new machinary or layout requirements in the plant.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the manufacturing environment
• Planning experience with CMMS.
• People management or training experience is highly desirable.
• Adaptable and flexible, comfortable in a diverse environment.
