Finance Manager - Continuous Learning Opportunities

Our industry leading client is looking for a Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in driving their finance team forward.  Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of critical financial information and reports. 
  
Responsibilities include:

• Lead the finance team to ensure accurate and reliable financial information and reports.
• Oversee and lead external audits and financial reporting, ensuring high-quality work is delivered within agreed timelines.
• Ensure that all month-end tasks, including journals and accruals, inventory, projects, and fixed assets are completed accurately and on time.
• Tax returns (GST/FBT/Income Tax) are completed and filed on time.
• Liaison with external tax consultants when required.
• Provide meaningful financial analysis to support business decision-making.
• Ensuring the daily, weekly and monthly cash flow reports are completed accurately and on time.

Preferred Requirements:

• Proven experience in senior financial accounting and managing audits.
• Knowledge of NZ tax requirements.
• Experience in driving a finance team to deliver high-quality work with a focus on accuracy and reliability.
• CA qualified or equivalent qualification.

You will have exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels across the Group.  You will have expertise in financial systems and processes, providing key support to the business in interpreting financial information.
