Junior Spare Parts Assistant required

TATES NZ is a privately owned company that represents some of the world’s premium brands of Heavy Transport components

We are looking for a new member to join our Papakura based team in the role of Junior Spare Parts Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our Spare Parts team with Picking, Packing & Dispatching Spare Parts orders as well as Counting in New Stock.

 All Spare Parts supplied are brand new products sourced from Overseas.

Key Responsibilities in the role will cover:

• Assisting our Spare Parts Department with picking, packing & dispatching customer orders
• Help unload Sea Containers & count in stock, (this requires basic math skills & accuracy).
• Help to to organize & manage stock - making sure that the Spare Parts shelves are always stocked up from Bulk Stock.

• Be reliable & honest – Able to come to work 5 days a week
• Be Fit & Healthy, there will be some heavy lifting in this role
• Be Motivated & able to show Initiative
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to adapt and cope under pressure
• A tidy appearance
• Sound skills in English & Math’s
• Enthusiasm, and energy, with a positive attitude and ability to learn
