Maintenance Night Shift - Career Growth Potential

Snowplanet (www.snowplanet.co.nz) is an indoor real-snow destination, offering a unique snow sports experience only 20 minutes north of Auckland.

If you’re looking for a hands-on unique working experience and more flexibility within your weekly working schedule this role may be perfect for you. With up to 40 hours a week, four nights on - four nights off, from 8.30pm to 7am.

You will be work closely with the Maintenance Manager in supporting the night operations of the business and will be responsible for the maintenance of the Snowplanet indoor snow facility. You will primarily be based in the cold side of operations, making and grooming snow, completing lift repairs, and overseeing the plant room. You will also be responsible for completing work in the warm side to keep all areas in great working order. You will be a team player with good communication skills. You will have a great eye for detail to ensure all tasks are completed correctly and can foresee any possible issues before they impact our operations. You will be proactive in resolving any issues within your area of competence and will own these through to resolution. You will enjoy a dynamic environment and will be able to thrive in an area with continual change. You will enjoy physical work and will be fit and able to complete all hands-on tasks. 

Experience operating machinery preferred but not necessary.
