Reports to: CFO
Based at: Auckland
Key responsibilities:
Accounting:
Monitor and perform accounts payable.
Monitor and perform accounts receivable.
Maintain accurate records in ERP system.
Reconciliation data in both accounting and production system.
Maintain inventory and perform monthly stock taking.
Perform month-end task and journals.
Perform GST, PAYE and income tax.
Banking:
Monitor and perform daily banking reconciliations.
Monitor and perform daily and weekly cash flow forecasts.
Monitor bank records and oversee day to day operations.
Prepare daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payments.
Prepare domestic and international payments.
Be able to check and verify all bank details for all parties.
Oversee the currency rate to minimise the foreign currency loss.
Credit controls and monitor the credit limit.
Payroll:
Process fortnightly payroll and Monthly payroll.
Monitor and perform the timesheet check for everyone.
Have knowledge of the holidays Act(2003)
Process monthly wages accrual, holiday pay accrual.
Process PAYE payment.
Process reports and communicate with external parties including Dairy Union, IRD and MOJ.
Financial Forecasting:
Monitor and perform daily and weekly cash flow forecasts.
Perform balance sheet reconciliation.
Maintain production data and update them with to financials accordingly including PL, BS and cashflow.
Maintain fixed assets from acquisition to disposal.
Maintain inventory and perform monthly stock taking.
Cost management; Monitor costs of raw materials in the system and update product margins.
Report monthly production and financial reports.
Liaise with stakeholders.
Prepare and perform financial auditing with external auditors.
Other tasks:
Sub-lease management.
Assist team with HR requirements.
Assist team with ERP questions.
Assist team with finance requirements.
Manage projects.
Skills
Attention to detail, problem solving skills and can do attitude.
Ability to prioritise and multitask.
Previous experience in manufacturing is preferable.
Good interpersonal communication skills for different people are a must.
Attention to detail, problem solving skills and can do attitude.
MS Office software skills, particularly in MS Excel.
Payroll experience
XERO (preferable)
Experience in using an ERP system (preferable)
