Job Description - Office Manager - Collaborative Environment

We are looking for a competitive Office Manager to join our dynamic team at Panelab in Hillcrest, Auckland.

Company Overview:

Panelab Ltd operates in the construction industry; supplying, fabricating and installing aluminium facades for high-end residential and commercial buildings. We’re a young, energetic crew in a business that’s growing quickly!

We are seeking a talented and organised Office Manager to join our team, supporting our daily operations.
 

Position Overview:

As the Office Manager, you will be the backbone of our office operations, ensuring that administrative functions run smoothly and efficiently. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining a well-organised and productive work environment for our team members.

The right person needs to have attention to detail and a can-do attitude, be confident and do well under pressure. You will be the glue that holds us together!
 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory of office and factory supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
  • Support Directors with basic HR functions and general administrative tasks.
  • Assist in the completion of contracts and Health & Safety documentation.
  • Streamline systems and processes for efficiency.
  • Organise the servicing of tools, as well as collection and delivery of materials when required.
     

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an office management or administrative role within the construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Knowledge of construction terminology, processes, and safety regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
