Responsible for:
- Front of house administration to ensure an efficient and polished response to initial queries and requests from students, staff, and visitors on campus.
- Administrative tasks in support of student services & wider organisational operations.
- Oversight of internal events such as School excursions, Experience QRC and Northland roadshow.
Purpose of the Position:
- To provide an initial point of contact on campus, acting as a central hub of information and facilitating effective communication throughout the organisation.
- To lead and support administrative functions across departments to best enable the student journey in line with QRC processes and policies.
- To positively represent the QRC brand.
Key Accountabilities:
- Management of the reception area and related tasks e.g. Answering Incoming calls, providing accurate and directive information where possible, effectively transferring enquiries to relevant staff members.
- Operational support within the Student Services team including contacting students proactively and assisting with study-link enquiries.
- Upkeep and reporting for the Professional Excellence system including managing student attendance.
- Engagement with, and assistance for students as required at reception.
- Support wider team where necessary/appropriate in administrative role
Preferred Experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in a customer-facing, administration or sales support role.
- Exposure to engaging with a variety of visitors, guests, and cultures
- Proficiency with IT platforms, including CRM systems.
- Engagement with a diverse audience through presentations and effective communication

- Ideally have a basic understanding of the tertiary sector and Study-link
- Demonstrated ease and respect in dealing with people from different cultures and ethnic groups, youth, parents, teachers, business/industry and public.
- Communication – exceptional written and oral skills

- The personality, profile, and personal appearance to represent QRC as required by its desired standards and level of professionalism.

Hours of work are 8:30-4:30pm however we may be willing to consider a job share role or reduced hours for the right applicant.

- Full NZ driver’s license and means to get to and from work daily.
