Planning and Operations Supervisor - Immediate Start

• Full-time permanent role with some flexibility in hours required during our busy period (August – December)
• Split locations between head office in Rosedale Albany (7 months) & our temporary production warehouse historically located in South Auckland (5 months)

Chrisco Hampers is a well-known brand in both New Zealand and Australia having operated for over 30 years delivering grocery and merchandise products to customers in time for Christmas.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this varied role will cover the full production life cycle including inventory and production planning, warehousing, and meeting reporting requirements. This Planning and Operations Supervisor role is an integral member of the operations team. This role will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Management of inventory and order fulfilment. Ensuring all delivered products are within the required procurement specifications. IFOTIS
• Ensuring inventory is receipted correctly and ready for production and invoice details are correct and sent for payment
• Effectively managing communications to suppliers when issues need to be resolved and managing a suitable solution through to conclusion
• Review Production plans regarding all products. 
• Manage a team of 2-3 staff packing all Merchandise product
• Preplanning of the production to be completed daily
• Making daily decisions on changes to best packaging methods and monitoring workload and schedules
• Proactively identifying processes and/or system improvements
• Assisting in the management of best practice health & safety in New Zealand Operations.

• Strong numerical skills and understanding when working with data,
• Solid organisation and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise your day efficiently,
• Comfortable working under pressure,
• Computer savvy with ability to adapt to new systems and software
• MS Excel (Intermediate-Advanced) is essential to this role. 
• Ability to develop strong relationships

This role does require the person to travel to the temporary warehouse during the delivery season (Aug – Dec). This is an ongoing part of the role.
