Trainee CNC Machine Operator - Join a Leading Company

Our client is based in West Auckland and specialises in sheet metal manufacturing. This is one of our best clients, and we have a long history of supplying reliable staff who have progressed through the ranks. 

This role is a “trainee CNC operator” as this is the progression path. You will start off as an off-sider to the operator and learn the ropes. You will help loading and unloading the machine so you should be comfortable manual handling of up to 25 kg, using basic hand and engineering measuring tools, and conducting quality control checks. A forklift ticket or experience would be great!

This is for an afternoon / evening shift. 3pm - 11pm Monday to Friday. 

Payrate $24 - $26 depending on experience (plus holiday pay etc.)

If you have previous engineering experience, can demonstrate a mechanical aptitude and have a forklift licence / experience operating a forklift we would like to hear from you. 

Excellent reliability and a good attitude are non-negotiable!

This is a temp role, but there may be an opportunity to transition temp to perm.

You should have full N.Z working rights with no restrictions.
