Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator - Collaborative Environment

Autex Industries, a values-driven organization that inspires spaces where people come together, is seeking a talented Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator to join our growing team located in Avondale.
 
With an innovative product offering and an expanding global presence, we manufacture recycled materials into building products used in the construction of everything from local schools to world-renowned landmarks.

Your Role:
As a Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for the efficient management of stock levels for raw materials, components, and finished goods.

Your day to day may include:

• Assisting with forecasting order requirements and placing purchase orders
• Coordinating inbound freight and tracking orders
• Maintaining accurate stock records and defining strategies to minimize inventory levels
• Monitoring and reporting inventory levels to meet anticipated demand and inventory budgets
• Continually improving working procedures to enhance efficiency and the working environment

About You:
While experience in a similar role is desirable, we're looking for an eager and resourceful problem-solver.  You're motivated by collaborating with a team, but equally able to work independently.  We're keen to hear your opinion, and ideas on how we can optimise our process.
 
We're also looking for: 

• The ability to analyze and interpret data for planning and reporting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
