Engineering Manager

We are working for a multi-disciplinary consultancy with regional offices that are keen to talk to experienced individuals who are looking to work in the Waikato area and can offer experience and management skills.

You will have proven skills in Engineering, whether that be land development, 3 waters, environmental, planning or land surveying and have strong team management skills. The role will be to assist with the delivery of projects and operational management of the Waikato engineering team as well as undertake marketing and development of services to current and potential clients. You will undertake and manage the Waikato engineering team in conjunction with the Engineering Directors to grow business development activities.

Due to the size of the business, the consultancy is agile in an environment where change is present and available. Your role will require leadership, confidence in your abilities and the need to be a real “people person”.

You will need:

• Degree or Diploma equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline
• Ideally CPEng, or working towards
• Capability and knowledge of civil engineering and infrastructure projects
• Project and contract management skills to a Senior level
• Team and staff management experience
